Sleep training was something I thought I would NEVER do as a parent. The very idea of it seemed cold to me. That was before my very sweet, very loving, VERY stubborn daughter was born. She wouldn't sleep for longer than 50 minutes, and with another young daughter to care for and a business to manage during the day, I could not survive any more sleepless nights, so I apprehensively began looking for a night nurse. Once I found Jamie and spoke with her in person about her no-cry method I felt much better about my decision. During the interview she taught me all the in's and out's of sleep training and we agreed that she would spend three nights a week (7PM-5AM) with my daughter for approx. six months. I was amazed when she arrived at our house about ten minutes early EVERY DAY to go over my daughter's daily logs and find out how her day went. I also appreciated that she kept detailed logs and even charted out my daughter's sleep progress with an app on her phone. The progress my daughter made was astounding! Within a month she was sleeping for three to four hours at a time and within 5 months she was consistently sleeping through the night and taking two long naps during the day. I can't say enough good things about Jamie! I would recommend her to any exhausted mother who is at her wits end and ready to make a change.
