I helped take care of my grandma who was bed ridden and had dementia up until she passed away in 2018. The experience really impacted me and made me want to pursue helping other elderly folk in similar situations who don't have children or the help they otherwise require. I am interested in doing part-time work that feels meaningful and makes a difference in people's lives so I figured doing this kind of work would be a perfect supplement to my income while also allowing me to meet new people and help families in need. With eight years of experience taking care of my grandma, I offer respite care, live-in support, transportation, and assistance with errands. I'm also comfortable with light housekeeping and meal preparation. I'm knowledgeable in medical management and mobility assistance and I have used hoyer lifts before with my grandma. My goal is to provide compassionate and reliable care for your loved one, and I look forward to discussing how I can help your family.
