My medical training began in N. J., at M Medical Center, where I worked as a medical-surgical technician. I have also served as a nursing assistant in Hawaii and Europe. In a recent role, I provided long-term care to an individual who later passed away from a traumatic brain injury. My experience includes caring for individuals with quadriplegia, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and cerebral palsy. Responsibilities included bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, medication oversight, exercise assistance, and transportation to medical appointments. In addition to clinical duties, I provided companionship, which was often a vital and rewarding aspect of my work. Light housekeeping and meal preparation were also part of my roles.
