About James

With six years of experience as an ICU nurse, I've transitioned to an inpatient hospice nurse role. This change allows me to pursue my passion for compassion and care. I find joy in becoming a part of a family's journey, providing comfort and support. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact. I'd describe my personality as committed, empathetic, and friendly. The older we get the feelings of losing independence becomes overwhelming and scary. I I'm looking for a job that allows me to be flexible with my schedule and provides me purpose and joy. I started caring for seniors when my I had the opportunity to care of my grandmother when she got sick. In my spare time, I like to play with my kids. My greatest accomplishment is being a father and enjoy every minute with them. My skills include as a hospice nurse I take full care of Activities of Daily Living or ADLs. Bathing, dressing, feeding, assisting with mobility, and medication management.
