About James

I have always felt comfortable and enjoyed the company of people from different generations. I volunteered at nursing homes in my neighborhood in grade school, cared for an elderly paraplegic, and 5 years ago, I moved across the country to help care for my grandmother in her last years. I have worked many different jobs caring for people of all ages, most recently as a Direct Support Professional for Deaf adults with developmental disabilities. I love playing games - dominos, cribbage, rummikub and all kinds of card games, as well as relaxing with a book or good movie. Happy to take your loved one out of the house, walk around a park (dogs welcome!) or run errands, anything for a little exercise. I am available for light housekeeping, meal prep, dressing/bathing, and most importantly, companionship.
