About Jama

I am a certified elementary teacher, licensed to teach grades K-6. I have been teaching third grade for the past 3 and a half years, and I LOVE it. I also have a special concentration in the area of reading, and I am experienced in how to differentiate my instruction to meet learners where they're at. I have experience in helping students with special learning needs, in both reading and math. I am prepared to provide students with specifically designed instruction, so that they can begin to learn the material that is causing them trouble. When presenting information in one way doesn't work for a child, I know the importance of trying something new. Whether that be manipulatives, visuals, or hands on experiences, I know how to help every child learn, no matter what their learning style or specific needs may be.
