About Jalyn

Empowering students to reach their full potential through critical thinking and problem-solving is the foundation of my teaching practice. With four years of experience as an upper elementary teacher, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students build their Math and English skills. I facilitate an engaging, supportive environment by connecting complex concepts to real-world examples and breaking down difficult problems into manageable steps. By utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication, I tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style. I prioritize building trust with both students and parents to create a collaborative experience. Whether we meet at your home, in a public place, or school, I find immense joy in witnessing those "aha!" moments and watching your confidence grow as you master new skills. I look forward to partnering with you to make learning a rewarding and successful journey.
