About Jalia

Hi! I'm Jalia, a junior Biology major at NC A&T with a strong background working with children of all ages. I've gained experience through babysitting, mentoring middle school students, coaching hurdlers on my old high school track team, and serving as a camp counselor for kids ages 4-12. These roles have taught me how to be patient, creative, and attentive while keeping kids engaged and feeling supported. I'm reliable, organized, and great at helping with after-school routines-whether that's homework help, light housekeeping, preparing simple meals, or keeping kids busy with fun, age-appropriate activities. I have my own dependable transportation, I'm a non-smoker, and comfortable with pets. I genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with kids and providing a safe, nurturing space where they can learn, unwind, and be themselves. I'd love the opportunity to support a family in Greensboro and be someone both children and parents can trust.
