About Jalen

Hi, I'm Jalen! I am an Assistant Guide at a small private school in Collierville. I teach in a montessori pre-k and kindergarten studio, teach PE for grades K through 8 , and lead our school's aftercare program. I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages. My love of childcare stems from growing up in a house with a licensed in-home daycare, in which I began assisting as a teenager. Having grown up with dogs, and now being a cat mom of two, I also love being around animals. On my free time, I enjoy nature, making crafts, playing musical instruments, and improving my Japanese language skills. I'd describe my personality as an adventurous, loving, and creative INFP. I look forward to meeting you! I'm looking for an occasional or temporary job that fits around my school schedule. (date nights, weekend sitter, etc)
