About Jaleigh

Hi! I'm Jaleigh, and I'm a Junior at UO. I'm a babysitter with over 4 years of experience in childcare ranging anywhere between 11 months - 11 years! I currently work at the YMCA's afterschool program at several elementary schools in the Eugene districts, and I also volunteer at a local preschool. I'm studying Communication Disorders and Sciences with a minor in Special Education, aiming to be a Speech Language Pathologist! I love creating a safe, positive space where kids can play, learn, and be themselves! I've worked in classrooms and youth programs leading crafts, games, homework help, and social-emotional activities. For peace of mind, I'm CPR/First Aid certified, trained in T1 diabetes care and glucagon administration, listed in the Oregon Background Registry, and have my food handler's certificate.
