About Jakyia

Hi! My name is Jakyia, and I'm a college student who loves working with kids. I've been caring for children for over 5 years, including my time at Lightbridge Academy where I worked with little ones as young as 3 months all the way up to 8 years old. I also have about 3 years of babysitting experience outside of that. I'm First Aid and CPR certified, have my own car, and a flexible schedule, so I can easily help with pick-ups, drop-offs, cooking, travel, and even swimming supervision. I like to keep things fun with outdoor play, crafts, and educational games, while still making sure household rules are followed. I know how important communication is, so I'm happy to send text updates or write daily reports-whatever works best for you. Families usually describe me as patient, creative, and friendly, and I really enjoy connecting with kids while supporting parents however I can.
