About Jakiyra

I like working with kids because I love helping them learn, grow, and feel supported, I'm passionate about creating a safe and positive environment for children to thrive. I am a social work major at New York University focusing on child welfare and child development, so working with children is something I am genuinely passionate about and committed to. I'm looking for a job where I can build strong relationships with kids and support their daily routines and development. I'm hoping to gain more hands on experience. I started working with kids when I was about 17. I worked at a party planning company and our target audience was children around 5 years old to 18 years old. In my spare time, I like to read books, watch movies/shows, and hang out the people I care most about. One thing you should know about me is I love children and my biggest focus is creating a safe environment for a child while also building a healthy relationship with them.
