About Jake

Hello! I've got a good bit of experience in education, having worked at NMUSD for a little over seven years. Over that time, I worked with students with and without disabilities across a wide range of grade levels. My passion for quality education and willingness to take the time to ensure a thorough understanding of subject matter was appreciated greatly by students and coworkers alike. My strength is definitely language arts, and I love to share how deepening your knowledge of language and literature can change your life in a myriad of ways (that ChatGPT couldn't). I also have played guitar for nearly 15 years, and enjoy teaching others to appreciate this fundamentally American and awesome instrument.
