About Jake

I've always genuinely loved working with kids and have experience caring for children in a variety of settings, including nannying and babysitting, being a camp counselor, swim instructor, and lifeguard. I also have a toddler of my own, so I understand the responsibility, flexibility, and patience that comes with caring for little ones. My husband also runs an afterschool program and summer camp, so working with kids is a big part of our lives. I'm warm, patient, responsible, and easy going. I love keeping kids active and engaged helping them to learn and explore, and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable and able to be themselves. Being a parent myself has given me an even greater appreciation for how important it is to find someone you trust with your child. I'm very comfortable following a family's routines, household rules, and parenting style. Ultimately, my goal is for parents to feel confident that their child is cared for, safe and supported.
