About Jake

Hi there! I am most capable of tutoring music, art, physical education, and biological science. For pre-high school students, I can also help with math, English, homework, and basic studies. Most of my tutoring experience comes from nannying, babysitting, and private music/art instruction. I have taught one-on-one music production and instrument lessons, and am especially practiced in singing, electronic music production, and trumpet. I am also a mycologist with federal research experience and have led walks and presentations for all ages. If your child is interested in fungi or mycology, I can provide higher-level instruction in that field. I have certified California teaching experience in PE and after-school programs. I prefer students interested in music or mycology, but am happy to work with younger students needing general tutoring.
