Jaime applied to our summer child care job and came to meet the family in person. She was absolutely lovely! She called the day of the interview to confirm, showed up on time and bonded with our kids very quickly (despite the fact that my 10 year old son was angry about something when she showed up). Jaime's sweet smile, friendly personality and interest in the boys warmed everything up, and the boys really wanted her to come back. We did wind up offering the position to another caregiver, but asked Jaime to keep in touch for future needs. There is no reason I can give for not offering her the summer position, other than I had to make a very agonizing decision between people who I felt very confident would make wonderful caregivers for our family!
