About Jaime

Hi! I'm Jaime. I grew up doing childcare for family and close friends, and I still regularly look after my nieces and nephews, so I'm very comfortable with the everyday rhythms of caring for kids -- meals, homework, play, and keeping things calm and fun. I spent nearly a decade in Istanbul, where I tutored kids in English and spent lots of time playing with them too. I'm also multilingual (English, Turkish, French, Italian), happy to bring some language exposure into playtime. I'm looking for 10-15 hours a week with kids under 11. I'm especially glad to help with homework so parents can wrap up work, or watch the kids for an evening out. I'm patient and reliable, and I like that this work fits flexibly around my schedule. I live in the East Village and am open to scheduling that works for your family.
