About Jaimee
Experience: 10 yrs
Hello! I am an experienced elementary tutor and teacher's assistant in the Deaf Education classroom. I tutored elementary students for many years until my hearing loss became too severe. Since that time, I've focused my attention on supporting Deaf students in elementary and Middle public schools in OKC. I enjoy interacting with the students everyday and encourage them for a great future as they learn to communicate using ASL and read English. Though I've become Deaf, I use technology such as transcription apps to assist in communication with those who do not know ASL.
