About Jaime

I love working with children, and consider myself fortunate to have found my calling in caring for them. Areas of interest include: arts & crafts, cooking & baking, dance & theater, love of reading & writing, including poetry, being outdoors in nature, learning and classifying plants, insects & animals. I am a Montessori Certified Early Childhood Educator with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been a participant of Project Wild, a wilderness skills training course, for early childhood & k-6. Waldorf and Compassionate Education are also areas in which I have attended workshops. As an experienced educator and caregiver of young children in a variety of settings and contexts I bring a diverse set of skills and abilities including knowledge of child development, a deep awareness and appreciation of differences in approaches to child rearing, and have a genuine understanding and love of children. I have CPR and first aid certification as well as all my clearances.
