I have experience taking seniors to medical appointments and communicating with doctors. I know Kaiser inside and out. I am very knowledgeable about many medical conditions and management of them (diabetes, dementia, neuropathy, congestive heart failure, A-Fib, strokes, kidney disease, Parkinson's disease, etc). I am comfortable setting out medications. I have helped with dressing as well as providing companionship. I enjoy cooking and am happy to do meal prep. I'm comfortable giving subcutaneous injections, checking blood sugar (finger pricks), giving insulin injections and providing medication prompts. Because I have dealt with my own health issues, I am very empathetic and gentle with those experiencing their own medical conditions. I like to form a bond with the seniors I care for and endeavor to make their lives brighter and happier.
