About Jaida

Hi, I am Jaida and I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal justice and Minor in Psychology. I have been fortunate to provide care and companionship to my great-grandparents and other older adults, which gave me a deep understanding of the unique needs and vulnerabilities that can come with aging. My responsibilities included meal preparation, assisting with feeding, accompanying them on walks to libraries and parks, and engaging them in meaningful activities such as reading, singing, and movement-based dancing. Through these experiences, I learned the importance of patience, empathy, safety awareness, and fostering social connection to support the physical and emotional well-being of elderly individuals.
