About Jaiah

I'm Jaiah. Brand new to the Houston area from Boston as of last month. My love for caring for children started at a very young age! But as far as actually getting paid, I've been working in child care since age 18. I've worked with children of all ages in professional and in home settings. As well as even teaching and giving therapy to children with developmental/physical disabilities. I'm not yet EEC certified but am well on my way to certification with credits currently accumulating! I plan to be qualified as soon as I can. With professional experience, I'd say I'm more than well equipped to create lesson/activity plans for children, as well as help them meet important age appropriate milestones! A clean environment is healthy for children, so I have no problems helping with cleaning or other tasks around the home as needed. I've worked in a 1:1 ratio as well as a 13:1 ratio, I'm comfortable with and capable of caring for more than one child.
