About Jahiyyah

Hi! My name is Jahiyyah. Since I was younger, I've always known that I loved being around children and working with them, which has lead me to where I am today. I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education, on track to graduate in the May 2025! I work full time at a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool in DC, so I'm available on weekends and occasionally on weekday evenings. A few fun facts about me: I love reading, writing, anything arts and crafts related, and traveling. When babysitting, I love to bring different activities - depending on the kids' ages - to keep them engaged (coloring books, paint, clay, puzzles/board games, etc.) even walks around the neighborhood/to a local park. I'm also open to any other activities they're interested in. I'd love to build a consistent relationship with a group of families to sit for on date nights, special events, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
