About Jaela

Hi! I'm Jae'La. I hold a bachelor's degree in Mental Health Counseling with a minor in Women and Gender Studies, and I'm currently pursuing my PsyD in School Psychology with a focus on autism intervention. I'm also in doula training, which has deepened my family-centered, compassionate approach to care. I have over 7 years of childcare experience, including work as a lead teacher, and 2 years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children ages 0-15. I strive to create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and confident to grow. I value consistency, clear expectations, and tailoring my approach to each child's unique needs. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and safety is always my top priority. I believe trust is built through patience, reliability, and open communication. My goal is to be someone children feel comfortable with and families can truly depend on.
