About Jade Elizabeth

The transition from preschool/childcare/home environment to kindergarten is such a big milestone. The best preparation is fostering a natural love of learning in the years leading up to starting school! As a trained Pre-Primary Montessori educator I help preschoolers and kindergartens build the academic foundation & self confidence they need for the big classroom through engaging math and early literacy activities. My teaching/tutoring approach is rooted in Montessori philosophy. I follow the child, using hands-on materials and purposeful, play-based activities that respect your child's unique pace. Our sessions will focus on concrete math concepts, phonetic reading skills, and fine motor (writing) development. Beyond academics, I guide children to develop executive functioning skills - including focus, emotional regulation, and independence.
