About Jadan

I'd describe my personality as energizing, humorous, and trustworthy. I like working with kids because they teach me as much as I teach them! Their interests, wisdom, and unique outlook on life inspires me! I'm looking for a job that asks me to do the best work I can! I don't mind flexibility, adapting to new situations, or last minute changes - I just ask for up front communication! I started working with kids when I was 11! I am the third eldest grandchild of 15 so I have been babysitting for a long time. I was also a camp counselor for pre-k through eighth grade students from ages 17-19. In my spare time, I like to perform in plays and musicals, read and write, and play video games with my younger cousins. One thing you should know about me is I have a history with students of all backgrounds and am intentional about gearing activities and learning around the interests of the child. My skills include teaching, effective communication, and generating a calming atmosphere.
