About Jacquelyn

Jacquelyn began nannying for us part-time in the spring of 2022, when my daughter was only four or five months old. It’s bittersweet to write this review for her, because it means she’s leaving us in her move to Richmond after more than two years of watching our child in the most loving, patient, engaged, and adaptable way. Jackie is all of the things: She’s flexible to your parenting style but has her own innate and well-informed sense of what a young child needs to be well cared for. She is mindful of the fact that she’s coming into someone else’s home and cleans up after herself. She isn’t afraid to ask questions if she doesn’t know where something is or wants to gauge how you want something done. She has a natural interest in child development, actively plays with our child, and takes her out on daily adventures to museums, libraries, the pool, and the playground. Most of all, I know that my kid is safe and loved when she’s with Jackie. I still think about when she first started with us and how responsive she was to my needs when I got back to part-time work remotely — she worked with my breastfeeding schedule for months and was diligent in following my baby’s nap schedule. She looooved that early stage. So grateful for her. There will be tears when she finishes up here. Hire her!
