About Jacquelyn

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a strong passion for helping students thrive academically. I tutor high school and college age students in English, French 1 & 2, Psychology, and Sociology. What sets my tutoring apart is that I focus on how students learn - not just what they are learning. In addition to subject support, I help students build effective study strategies, improve focus, and develop emotional regulation and organizational skills that support long-term academic success. My background in mental health allows me to meet students where they are, reduce academic stress, and build confidence alongside competence. My goal is to empower students with the tools they need to succeed - both in the classroom and beyond. I strive to create a structured and supportive space where students fee understood, motivated, and capable of reaching their goals.
