Experience: 10 yrs
Hi, my name is Jacqueline. I was born in Colombia and have many years of experience caring for children of all ages, including infants and kids with special needs. I'm a loving, active, and responsible nanny. I enjoy outdoor activities, reading books, arts and crafts, and supporting children's learning through play. I'm fluent in Spanish and happy to teach it if you're interested. I speak English well and continue to improve every day. I follow routines like feeding, naps, diapering, potty training, and more. I have a flexible schedule, drive with a clean record, and always prioritize safety and communication. I look forward to meeting your family!
Jacqueline has been a part of our family and a welcome presence on our home for over four years—first caring for our son, then caring for our son and daughter after she was born less than two years later, and then helping us transition our son to pre-school part-time while continuing to care for our daughter full-time. After months of stressing about finding the right person to invite into our home and trust with our children as my wife prepared to return to work after maternity leave, we were enormously grateful to have found Jacky through a glowing recommendation we received from another family. After our first interaction, we immediately knew that we had found the perfect caregiver for our children. Her entrance into our lives was seamless and she has been a truly extraordinary presence in our home and a deeply positive influence on us all. We were immediately impressed by Jacqueline in every way, especially given her warmth, kindness, gentle nature, professionalism, reliability, and honesty. Jacqueline immediately formed a strong and loving bond with our entire family—including our children, my wife and me, and even our dog who immediately runs to the door to greet her with excitement each morning—which has only strengthen over time. While we all welcome and look forward to her arrival each morning as a family, most importantly, our children absolutely adore her. They run to the door to greet her with big smiles and hugs each morning and are sad to see her leaving in the evenings, even asking if she is coming to see them over the weekend because they miss her. Jacqueline became an integral part of our family, and her presence brings us peace of mind when we are away from our children. Trusting someone to care for you kids is not an easy task, but with Jacqueline, we always felt they were in the most capable and loving hands. She has continuously worked to nurture them, helping to instill important values, and to develop empathy and a high moral standard. In addition, her ability to balance play, learning, and structure make every day not only fun, but enriching for our children. What truly sets Jacqueline apart is her: -Genuine care and affection for our children. -Strong sense of responsibility and reliability—always prompt, never late, always communicative, exchanging texts and photos/videos throughout the day, with a willingness to adapt to our dynamic schedules and make herself available outside of typical hours. -Calm and confident, but gentle demeanor in handling everything from bumps, bruises and cuts to full-blown toddler meltdowns. -Respect for our parenting values and household routines while being a welcome and additive presence in our home. -Creative and educational approach to activities—from arts and crafts and outdoor play to reading, singing, and imaginative games. -Ability to introduce and share the Spanish language with our children at a formative age as a native speaker, helping them to gain a conversational understanding the language and desire learn more. With our families out of state and abroad, we feel fortunate to have been able to welcome her into our lives and family. While we are heartbroken that we will not be able to spend as much time with Jacqueline moving forward as our youngest begins school this year, we know that any family would be incredible lucky to have her. If you are considering Jacky for a nanny position, I wholeheartedly recommend her without reservation. Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to speak further about our experience.
