About Jacqueline

I am a rising senior at UMass Amherst who is living in Boston for the summer. I have years of experience working with kids of all ages as both a babysitter and camp counselor. I try to disengage kids from screens when I am with them to that we can truly be in the moment and bond with one another. I am First Aid/CPR/AED certified for all ages, and I am trained in how to use an EpiPen if needed. Though I have my own background and skillset with children, I will always defer to parents rules for the children to ensure a regular routine for the children and develop trust with parents. I'd describe my personality as friendly, welcoming, and energetic! I started working with kids when I was 15 years old, and I am now 20. In my spare time, I like to read books, go for walks, spend time with friends, and hang out with my cats! My skills include experience with shy/socially anxious children, appealing to a variety of interests and hobbies, and focusing on inclusion and welcoming!
