About Jacqueline

Hi, my name is Jacqui. I worked as an Assistant Pre-School Teacher at First Steps Nursery School in Lake County, Illinois from 2002 to 2005, as well babysat after pre-school hours for some of the nursery school clients. After that I provided private afterschool care to two children from 2005-2008. Ive attended three Early Childhood Conferences at the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater, one Child Care Training through Appelbaum Training Institute and two CPR courses. I had begun working towards my teaching degree through the College of Lake County, in Illinois, but then in 2010, I became a full-time Nanny for a family. I soon realized that there was no greater fulfillment than to be part of a family in this way, so I set aside my pursuit of a teaching degree to exclusively pursue being a nanny. I was with my last family for over 7 years. To me it is more than just a job, its the most rewarding career a person could ever have. I would love to come and be a part of your family!

We have worked with Jacqui for almost 4 years. She has been our full time nanny since my son was three months old. My kids are going to school full time which is why we are parting ways full time, and we are all sad that we won’t see her every day. Any family who gets to work with Jacqui is beyond lucky. She’s essentially a modern day Mary Poppins. She has become part of our family and we absolutely love her. She is so easy going and kind and having her in your home feels natural, she is amazing with our kids. She is always calm, loving and logical. She is never on her phone and dedicates her entire time to playing with and teaching your children new things. She’s extremely respectful of how we parent our children and compliments our parenting style. She’s reliable and such a big help. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Jacqui. She’s such a special part of our children’s lives, and any child who knows Jacqui is lucky. She genuinely cares for them, and she’ll become part of your family.
