About Jacob

Volunteering with the BB Club gave me hands-on experience building one-on-one relationships with children who have autism and other developmental disabilities, which helped me develop patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. I spent time supporting my buddy during school activities, making sure they felt safe, included, and comfortable, and I learned how important consistency and trust are when caring for kids. This experience, combined with my reliability and calm approach, makes me attentive, responsible, and well-prepared to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment as a babysitter.
