About Jackson

Hi, I'm Jackson! I work as a clinical research coordinator at the University of Washington and studied Psychology and Spanish linguistics at UC Berkeley. Coming from a family of teachers, I've always had a passion for education. I have experience tutoring elementary through high school students in math, biology, English, and history, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their learning. My approach is patient, supportive and tailored to each student's needs. I like tutoring because I love helping people make connections. Seeing the light bulb turn on when helping someone learn something new is an experience that never gets old! I'm looking for a job that allows me to connect with people and help them feel more confident in their academic abilities. I love working with others in a one-on-one setting and forging a connection to accomplish new things together. In my spare time, I like to run and solve puzzles.
