My name is Jackson and I just graduated from St. Pius X High School in Kansas City, Missouri in May. I'm currently studying Special & Elementary Education which is something I'm very passionate about. I am a full-time college student looking for a part-time work doing what I love! During my senior year, I realized that working with special needs students is something that I'm very passionate about. I worked with students who needed extra assistance to complete their daily tasks at school. I specifically worked with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I worked on breaking down the lessons so that the students could succeed in school. I also tutor students in grades 3-5 with learning disabilities or just struggling with school in general. The students I have tutored have turned their grades completely around. My first student who I started tutoring had F's & D's in all his classes and he ended up getting A's and B's in all his classes. I work with students on organization, study skills, motivation, and skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. This is how they'll succeed in school, no matter how old they are.
