I describe myself as caring, protective, joyful. I'm looking for a part time job I understand the professionalism expected from someone you allow in your home or from someone you have placed your trust in to help care for a loved one and I endeavor to honor that trust. Simply put... I care about people, especially seniors. I take pride in everything I do, I am honest, I am dependable and I am patient. For 3+ years, as a certified nursing assistant working in a skilled nursing center, I assisted with showers, hygiene and dressing in normal and quarantined situations. I recorded vital signs, assessed for cognitive well-being and mobility. For bedridden patients, I changed linens, bed clothes and gave baths. I assessed and medicated bedsores. Assisted patients with their meals, but most importantly I encouraged them to enjoy their day.
