As a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 30 years of experience, I'm passionate about making a difference in people's lives. My background includes working in hospitals and nursing homes, and I currently care for adult and pediatric trach/vent clients. Supporting families by providing compassionate and reliable care is what motivates me. For two years, I cared for my mother-in-law at home while she was on hospice. I'm professional, detail-oriented, friendly, and approachable. I respect a care recipient's independence and always follow the family's preferred communication method. I can handle confusion, agitation, or behavioral changes, and I adapt to changing routines or unexpected challenges. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I am comfortable with pets and have a car.
