About Jackie

I'd describe my personality as gentle, fun, and flexible. I like working with kids because they are curious and positive. I'm looking for a job that helps a family. I'm available for part-time care. I started working with kids when I was in college. I've taught swim lessons and was a camp counselor. I'm a mother of two grown children who are now in college. I also work with children in the nursery at church. Plus, I'm a science teacher. I have a college degree. I teach virtually and have flexible hours. I definitely can help with tutoring or school work. In my spare time, I like to walk my dog, read, and paint. One thing you should know about me is I'm reliable. It's important that families know I will show up on time and be a consistent and present provider when I'm working. I'm detail oriented and organized. My skills include meal prep and cooking, light housekeeping and tidying up, activities to engage little ones, and staying calm. I do have a reliable car too.
