Experience: 20 yrs
For 26 years , I've dedicated myself to nurturing children's growth and well-being. My positive experiences as a nanny/babysitter led me to pursue a career where I can positively impact young lives and support families with reliable care. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I have an associate degree. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules, and I always use their preferred method for communicating about their child's day. I enjoy playing educational games that promote learning. I am comfortable caring for 3 children at a time. I am also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I have 21 years experience working with special needs. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment where your child can thrive, and I look forward to the possibility of becoming a part of your family's support system. Jackie has been with our family since our daughter, was 3 months old. I consider her a part of our family, and her time with us has been such a blessing in so many ways. Before going back to work, I was so nervous about being away from our daughter every day. Once Jackie started working with our family my concerns were completely relieved. She did a fantastic job at putting my mind at ease because I knew I was leaving our daughter in capable and loving hands. As an employee, Jackie is very trustworthy, responsive and timely. She did a great job of giving us plenty of notice if she needed to miss a day of work or if she had an appointment so we could make alternative arrangements. Working with Jackie has been easy and I’m grateful for how well our relationship has worked. Jackie is truly gifted when it comes to providing childcare. I’m reminded of how lucky we’ve been to have Jackie as our nanny every morning when she arrives, and Hope gets so excited just to see her! Jackie is loving, enthusiastic, and engaged. We didn’t have much of a daily schedule when Jackie started, but she was great at helping us to establish one that worked for our family. Anytime I leave instructions for things that Hope needs or help I need around the house, Jackie always gets them taken care of easily. Hope was born prematurely and was behind in hitting her developmental milestones early on, but Jackie has done wonders in working with her on skill development and has brought her up to speed (and in some cases, ahead of) where her peers are. Most importantly, she treats and loves our daughter like she’s her own. Again, I can’t overstate how fantastic Jackie’s time with our family has been and how much we will miss her now that Hope is starting school in a few weeks.
