About Jack

Hello, my name is Jack, and I am a full-time scientist! I obtained my B. S. in Microbiology from OSU, where I still work in infectious disease research. I have worked in a lab for over four years, where I study antibiotic resistance, novel therapeutic development, and immunology in the hopes of creating a better world for all. I am punctual, reliable, and happy to assist your student(s) with biology and general science. My background includes coursework in general biology, ecology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and genetics. I am incredibly passionate about science, and I work closely with and train undergraduate students in my lab. I plan to begin studying to obtain my Ph. D. in microbiology in the near future, and I hope to continue working as a scientist after. When I'm not in the lab, I enjoy working as a photographer at local music venues, cooking, and relaxing with my cat, Ethel.
