I earned my Registered Nursing license 50 years ago and worked briefly before changing my career choice to working in the electronics profession. I have not worked as an RN since that time. Prior to becoming a nurse I worked for three years as a nurses aide at Children's Medical Center in Seattle. I lived with and was a companion for a developmental delayed senior for 28 years. I have also volunteered in hospice home care in both the Seattle area and with Hospice of Southern Maine. For the last 2. 5 years I worked (part time in southern Maine) as a caregiver and companion for a gentleman in his early 60s with memory deficit challenges.
