About Iyla

Hello! I am a Graduate student at Southern Oregon University in the Master's of Teaching program. I graduated cum laude in 2023 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a social emotional learning badge. I have held a substitute teaching license for two years and have worked with children since I was 13. I have worked consistently with k-12 students and would be open to working with college students. I am currently student teaching and plan to become a full time teacher within a few years. I currently work within the Jackson County Library System, often with children and teens. I am passionate about teaching and I especially love working with students one on one. I am skilled in differentiation, looking at and helping my students to understand a problem from multiple different viewpoints and through different methods. I am open to many different styles of tutoring and would love to work with you and your child to develop a method that works.
