About Iyana

I am a current full-time employee in the DC Public School system, and full-time student completing my bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have been grateful to work amongst three different counties and within the daycare throughout my educational studies, before landing my DC position and have blessed with amazing mentor teachers from infant ages up to 15 y/o. My experience of 7+ paid years in childcare, despite my young age, is due to my own loving family that have backgrounds in childcare, education, and coaching. They always bringing me along with them as they taught, inspired, nurtured and raised neighborhoods of children, even from the time I was in pre-school. I am incredibly passionate about my work and excited to service, build strong relationships with, and grow together with your child and family this summer!
