About Ivy

I was born and raised in the western mountains of Maine, spending lots of time hiking, swimming, skiing, farming, and biking. The past 3 years I've been living in Alaska, working for two years as a preschool teacher. Prior to that I worked in two elementary schools in Maine, nannied for two families, and was a ski school instructor for 4 years. Beyond the professional experience, I regularly babysat children of all ages for many years. I love working with children, they bring so much joy and different perspectives. I am very comfortable around animals and all types of pets.
