About Ivy

I've been taking care of kids since I was a kid myself, and I like to think I'm a natural. In middle school, I decided to take it to the next level and start a small summer camp out of my backyard. I loved coming up with activities like craft projects, dress up, dancing, hide and seek, and anything involving an empty cardboard box. Kids are overflowing with natural creativity and excitement and I love finding ways to help them use their imagination to explore the world around them. My passion in life is science and the natural world, and I'm a big proponent of getting kids outside and off the screen. Keeping things interesting and creative is my strong suit, but I always take my cues from the child. Tired and grumpy? Let's cozy up with some popcorn and a movie. Energetic?
