About Ivy

Hi! My name is Ivy, and I'm a full-time student. I'm a creative and caring person who loves art, poetry, crafts, and finding meaningful ways to connect with others. I bring a calm, supportive energy into the environments I'm in. I have hands-on childcare experience through both education and babysitting. I completed the Early Childhood Development and Family & Consumer Science pathways, working with preschool and elementary-aged children and the Trigg Tots program. I also have extensive experience caring for my five nieces and nephews, including overnight care and long supervision. My experience began early when I was involved in a daycare environment where my former guardian worked. Over time, I moved from being a child in care to helping with daily routines. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, writing poetry, music, friends, and movies. I'm also studying theater at UK, focusing on hands-on behind-the-scenes work like building and painting.
