I'm a social worker and experienced sitter who takes pride in providing attentive, consistent and developmentally-appropriate care - all while having plenty of fun. I'm in my last year of a PhD program and am looking to provide evening/weekend childcare while I complete my research. Prior to that, I worked for over 10 years as a family therapist, early childhood educator and in-home child care provider. I have Master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in child development and family practice. I am very comfortable and love working with young infants, sibling sets, children with developmental delays/disabilities and kids who experience separation anxiety when their parents aren't home. I can attend and supervise during playdates, sports practices, dance classes and other activities. I can also help with homework, reading comprehension, writing skills, crafts/hobbies, social/emotional skill building, travel and carpool.

I could go on and on, but Ivy was such a find! We are so grateful to have her in our lives. She takes stellar care of our 1-year-old son. Should he be napping or playing, she always fills the time with meaningful, helpful things for our family. She is so resourceful. Ivy is calm, collected, and punctual, and helps us get back to feeling like real people post-pandemic. She juggles school and a lot of other priorities, but we are grateful for the few times she has been able to support us! I would definitely recommend Ivy.
