I'm Ivy. I'm a certified special education teacher with a master's degree, and I'm a mom to a 7-year-old. I live in Three Rivers and I'm offering nanny and babysitting care in the Bend area. I worked for the Anchorage School District for 8 years, with kids from infants up through elementary, mostly in self-contained special education classrooms. I have a lot of experience with kids with higher support needs, including kids who use AAC devices to communicate. I'm calm and I keep a routine. I use visual schedules and clear expectations. I don't escalate when a kid is having a hard time. I'll tell you straight how the day went. I'm available weekdays starting at 4:15 a.m. I can flex on the end time some.

Ivy is fantastic! I love her energy and positive attitude! When we interviewed Ivy she surpassed both mine and my husband's expectations. We could immediately tell that she truly has a passion for not only caring for children but guiding and teaching them as well! Though we originally interviewed Ivy for before and after school care, my husband and I decided to place our children back into daycare only because our profession as dual military officers and Ivy was due to take a short trip soon after hiring. However, she is at the TOP of our list for when we need a provider on short notice. I can't wait for our children to spend time with her!
