About Ivanie

I have a background in college counseling and private and day school admissions in the New York metro area. Additionally, I have experience as a writing mentor and I am a 3 time Scholastic Arts and Writing juror. I have helped over 60 high school seniors write their college essays through brainstorming and proofreading, and successfully apply to colleges as a college counselor. In addition to this, I have helped non-native English speaking college students write essays in English through every step of the process such as understanding the prompt and submitting their essay to competitions. I have also tutored high schoolers, college students and adults in Spanish through textbook use, and conversations. For reference, I am a fluent Spanish speaker and have had 12 years of formal Spanish education.
