About Itzel

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching philosophy. With four years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in Math, English, Art, and test preparation. I hold certifications as a Certified teacher and in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps to build confidence and momentum. I prioritize open communication with both you and your student to ensure we meet every goal together. My favorite part of this work is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. Whether we meet at a library, a coffee shop, or online, I look forward to supporting your child's unique journey toward academic success.
