About Isabel

As someone who has always loved and excelled in school, I was always the one of my friends to help everyone with their homework, explaining concepts to them that they didn't understand from class. I know the patience it takes to guide someone towards true understanding and mastery of a subject. I want to give that feeling to other kids and teens who are struggling in school, telling themselves that they will never grasp the concepts. This feeling can wear on their spirit and their self-esteem. But with patience and clear direction, it is beyond possible to arrive at the goal. I am proficient in English and writing (essay writing, college application essays, editing/proof-reading, etc), math (up through pre-calculus), history/social studies, science, music (piano, guitar), and test prep (standardized testing, ACT, SAT, etc).
